Kent Karate Schools train in the style of Karate known as Tsuyoi-Ryu, meaning "Powerful School", and derives from Kyokushin Karate with an element of Shotokan included. The style changed format, completely in 1975, when Shihan Gerry Bryan 8th Dan decided to restructure, and has become a popular Japanese style, nationally, within Great Britain.
