Godan promotion for Sensei Paul Mitchell.

Congratulations to Sensei Paul Mitchell for attaining his 5th Dan which is assessed and considered by the NAKMAS Governing Body Management committee on 3rd April 2012.

Sensei Paul Mitchell has been training since the early 1980s. His training began with the K.U.G.B, gaining his Shodan and Nidan grades with Sensei Enoeda.

In 2002 he joined the T.S.K.A as Sensei Mannings approach to Shotokan Karate is closer to his, in terms of reality based Martial Arts.

Sensei Mitchell feels very strongly that training in Shotokan Karate should teach practical self defence skills, but should place an equal emphasis on the development of the students’ character.

Rokudan promotion for Sensei John Euden.

Congratulations to Sensei John Euden for attaining his 6th Dan which as with Sensei Paul Mitchell above, at this level was assessed and considered by the NAKMAS Governing Body Management committee up to and including the 2nd November 2013.

In order to achieve his 6th Dan John also had to undertake and complete a module from the NAKMAS Coach Development Programme - Equality Awareness Development Module. Since this Sensei Peter Manning is keen to roll this training module out to all TSKA Instructors.
